Yes, regulations stipulate that all deceased need to be transported in a coffin to another country.
How many family members can accompany the deceased in a TFL vehicle?
We allow for 2 family members to accompany the deceased.
Do you use air transport for repatriation within the borders of South Africa?
No, all neighbouring countries are serviced by road as this is a faster and more cost effective option.
Our insurance has not paid enough to cover repatriation to the final burial site. What do I do now?
TFL can assist on a cash basis for the outstanding amount.
Do family members need to do a COVID test before crossing the border?
At the moment yes. A valid PCR test done within the last 48 hours is required.
